1967

Port Foundation

The port was inaugurated to meet the growing needs of maritime traffic and support local economic development. From the outset, it was based on collaboration between local authorities and the State, laying the foundations for an ambitious project.

1980s

Business diversification

In response to the region's industrial boom, the port is expanding its reception capacity and developing infrastructures adapted to new traffic, particularly in the chemicals and materials sectors.
