Port restrictions
Port-la-Nouvelle includes 4 separated terminals :
- Quay East N+ 2 is dedicated to dry bulk and general cargo. This is a 400 M long quay with 4 berths (N° 5 - 6 - 7 et 8). Berth N° 5 is equiped with a gantry for grain handling. Berth N° 8 is fitted with a roro ramp. 3 cranes ranging from 10 to 40 MT lifting capacity, as well as grabs and hoppers area available at this place.
- Berth D4 is used for handling grain (1000 T/hour gantry) and clinker (separate gantry).
- berth D2 is specialised for hydrocarbons, liquid bulk and gas.
- Large tankers are operated at the "sealine".
